One boy... two classes

A Class Apart follows a working-class single mother fighting to secure her son's place at the best state school in her area. When a local private school headmaster learns of her campaign, he becomes intrigued and offers the boy a scholarship, convinced he can transform his life. The series explores the collision between ambition and class, as the mother navigates the headmaster's motives while her son adapts to an unfamiliar world of privilege. Tensions rise when the boy's new environment threatens to pull him away from his roots, forcing both mother and son to question what education truly means and at what cost they're willing to climb.
