Bicho do Mato(1972)

Bicho do Mato is a Brazilian drama following Juba, a wild and untamed farmhand raised in the interior of Mato Grosso with little formal education but deep knowledge of the land. When cattle rustlers kill his parents, Juba inherits the farm and vows revenge. Guided by Iru, an indigenous tutor who reveals the forest's secrets, he pursues his vendetta with single-minded determination. His trajectory shifts when Ruth arrives from the city, a young woman whose presence opens unexpected doors and challenges Juba's isolated worldview. The series explores the collision between rural tradition and urban possibility, between vengeance and redemption, as Juba navigates love, loss, and the possibility of a different future.
