The House of Venus Show(2005)

The House of Venus Show is a groundbreaking LGBT sketch comedy series created by Canadian filmmaker Mark Kenneth Woods and co-produced by Michael Venus. Premiering on OUTtv in July 2005, it was the world's first sketch comedy show centered on queer culture. The series ran for three seasons, with the second arriving in September 2006 and the third debuting in July 2009 after a break. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, the show blends politics and pop culture with sharp humour and irreverence. The House of Venus Show found audiences across multiple territories, airing on SelecTV in Australia, Pink TV throughout France and Switzerland, and here! network in the USA, often under the alternate title Le Venus Show in European markets.
