Banged Up(2008)

Banged Up is a British documentary series following ten teenage boys with histories of run-ins with law enforcement. The teens are placed inside a decommissioned prison for an immersive experience designed to show them the harsh realities of incarceration. Over the course of the programme, they confront what actual prison life entails—the loss of freedom, strict routines, and separation from the outside world. The series aims to act as a deterrent, giving at-risk youth a sobering glimpse of where their current paths might lead.
