Mae Nak Phra Khanong(1989)

Mae Nak Phra Khanong is a Thai supernatural drama centered on a woman's devotion that transcends death itself. Nak lives peacefully with her husband Mak along the Phra Khanong Canal until he is conscripted to war and gravely wounded. While he recovers, Nak dies in childbirth along with their child. When Mak returns home, he is overjoyed to find his wife and son waiting for him—unaware they are ghosts bound to him by love. The film explores the haunting consequences of their reunion as Mak gradually discovers the truth, blending romance with horror as Nak's spectral presence becomes increasingly dangerous.
