Spin City(1996)

Spin City is a political comedy series following Mike Flaherty, the overworked Deputy Mayor of New York City who keeps his boss, Mayor Randall Winston, in line while managing the city's daily chaos. Mike relies on a colorful team of staffers to navigate municipal crises: a nervous press secretary, a crude chief of staff, a polished gay activist handling minority affairs, a sharp-witted accountant with an eye for romance, and an earnest young speechwriter. Though each member proves competent in their role, they struggle with personal demons and professional quirks that constantly threaten to derail operations.
