Frostbitten(2023)

Frostbitten is a Russian comedy series about four bandits from the 1990s who accidentally fall into a cryogenic chamber while collecting a debt, only to wake up in 2022 Moscow. Phil, Chuck, Whizz, and Massa find themselves completely disoriented in a radically transformed city filled with unfamiliar technology and modern customs. Their personal lives have been upended too—loved ones have aged decades, forcing them to navigate relationships with adult children and aging partners they barely recognize. As the four friends struggle to adapt to this bewildering new world, they also plot revenge against their former boss, the man responsible for their accidental deep freeze. The series blends fish-out-of-water comedy with the surreal challenge of reconnecting with a life that has moved on without them.
