Detective Surprenant(2023)

Detective Surprenant is a Quebec crime series following a seasoned homicide investigator who left Montreal for the quiet Magdalen Islands, only to be drawn back into a brutal case when a teenage girl is murdered. Reluctant to abandon his hard-won peace, Surprenant partners with colleague Geneviève Savoie and a team of inexperienced local officers to hunt the killer.
