3-2-1(1978)

3–2–1 is a British game show that aired on ITV from 1978 to 1988, hosted by former Butlins entertainer Ted Rogers. Based on the Spanish format Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez, the show blended quiz, variety and game elements into one fast-paced package. It became a Saturday evening fixture, consistently pulling audiences of 12 to 16.5 million viewers across its ten-year run. The format proved so popular that even the final Christmas special drew 12.5 million viewers, yet no eleventh series was commissioned. Rogers later suggested the show's accessible, populist style fell out of favour with television decision-makers, despite ratings that would be considered strong by modern standards.
