Kamen Rider Gotchard is a Japanese tokusatsu series following high school student Houtarou Ichinose as he hunts down dangerous creatures called Chemies that have been accidentally released into the world. These beings were created by a mysterious alchemist and stored on secret cards, but the collection has escaped containment. Armed with Chemies of his own—including the Grasshopper Chemy Hopper-1 and the Steam Locomotive Chemy Steamliner—Ichinose transforms into the titular Kamen Rider to recapture the scattered creatures before they cause widespread harm.
