Live(1999)

Live is a series about Misaki, who joins her school's Brass Band Club inspired by her father's stories of its former prestige. She arrives to find the club in decline, populated by unmotivated students. Determined to restore it to its glory days, Misaki takes on the challenge of helping her fellow members work through their personal struggles. As she pushes the group toward excellence, she discovers that reviving the band means more than just perfecting their sound—it requires understanding and supporting each student's individual journey. The series balances the competitive drive to succeed with the emotional growth that comes from working together toward a shared goal.
