Addicted

Addicted is a drama series that explores how unresolved trauma fuels destructive habits. Casey Zhang seeks revenge against the corrupt Wang Fei-Peng by befriending his alcoholic wife, Yang Man-ru. What begins as a calculated scheme transforms into genuine friendship, pulling both women into drug abuse. When anti-narcotics officer Chen Qi-ming investigates the case, he discovers Yang Man-ru is his former lover, reigniting old feelings and guilt. As their emotional attachments deepen, each character spirals further into addiction—whether chemical or psychological. The series examines how obsession and unresolved love become their own forms of dependency, trapping them in cycles of self-destruction.
