Ilia is a comedy series following a woman who returns to her hometown of Jayuya, a small rural community nestled in Puerto Rico's mountains, after completing her graduate studies in Europe. Back among her tight-knit circle of friends and family, she navigates the peculiar rhythms of small-town life—from workplace mishaps to romantic entanglements to family dynamics—each situation more absurd than the last. The show captures the clash between her cosmopolitan education and the eccentric realities of her tight community, finding humor in the everyday chaos that only a remote mountain town can deliver.
