St Marks follows a successful visual artist navigating the clash between two worlds in a rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn neighborhood. As wealth transforms the area, he finds himself caught between his affluent lifestyle and the working-class community that once defined the block. The series explores his struggle to maintain authenticity and connection with his neighbors while ascending into the one percent, all while wrestling with how he's perceived—as an outsider, a sellout, or simply a nerd. St Marks examines gentrification's human cost through the lens of someone profiting from it, asking whether he can bridge the widening gap or if he's destined to be forever isolated by his success.
