Zhe Zhe is a series following Mona DeLiza and Jean D'Arc, two drag performers who'll stop at nothing for their moment in the spotlight. Operating as the campy duo "Zhe Zhe" in a surreal, post-apocalyptic New York, they navigate a chaotic landscape populated by vegan fascists, trust-fund blonds, slactivist protesters, and various other absurdist characters. Obsessed with old Hollywood mythology and rock-and-roll excess, Mona and Jean are already legends to each other—but they're determined to achieve immortal fame, consequences be damned. The show blends dark comedy with avant-garde sensibilities, capturing the desperation and delusion of two performers chasing celebrity in a world that's equal parts dystopian and ridiculous.
