Far Out Space Nuts(1975)
Far Out Space Nuts is a 1975 children's series from Sid and Marty Krofft that aired for one season on CBS. The show follows Junior, a NASA maintenance worker played by Bob Denver, and his grumpy coworker Barney, portrayed by Chuck McCann. When Junior accidentally hits the launch button instead of the lunch button while loading a rocket, the two blast off into space and encounter a series of misadventures across alien planets. Joining them is Honk, a furry creature who communicates through horn sounds. Like most children's television of its era, Far Out Space Nuts features a laugh track and embraces the Kroffts' signature whimsical style. The series produced 15 episodes and remains a quirky artifact of 1970s Saturday morning television.
