Das Sahara-Projekt is a miniseries following a team of scientists attempting to harness solar power in the Sahara Desert. As the group pursues their ambitious renewable energy initiative, they juggle personal crises and financial pressures. Their real obstacles, however, prove far darker: entrenched energy corporations actively sabotage their work, shadowy investors offer funding with hidden agendas, and violent threats escalate into murder attempts. The project becomes a battleground where idealistic innovation clashes with corporate greed and criminal conspiracy. Caught between competing forces determined to see them fail, the team must decide how far they'll go to protect their vision—and each other.
