Toshkent 94 is a crime series set in 1994 Tashkent. When Mukha, a notorious criminal figure, is stabbed and left for dead in the river, Internal Affairs officers devise an audacious plan: they infiltrate his gang by recruiting actor Zakir Boho, who bears a striking resemblance to the missing gangster. As Boho assumes Mukha's identity, he must navigate the dangerous underworld while maintaining his cover. The operation grows increasingly precarious as Boho gets drawn deeper into the criminal network, blurring the lines between his role and reality. Toshkent 94 explores themes of deception, survival, and moral compromise against the backdrop of post-Soviet Uzbekistan's volatile crime scene.
