The Trapalhões is a Brazilian comedy series that aired on Rede Globo from 1977 to 1999, built around a legendary sketch troupe led by Renato Aragão's character Didi Mocó. The ensemble—Dedé Santana, Zacarias, and Mussum—became icons of Brazilian television, their name derived from the Portuguese verb meaning to bungle or confuse. The show thrived on physical comedy and absurdist humor that resonated across generations. The group faced tragedy when Zacarias died in 1990, yet continued performing until Mussum's death in 1994.
