Disappearing Footprints is a Russian drama series following Kirill, a police officer whose life unravels after a tragedy. When his young daughter Ulyana is kidnapped, a ransom exchange goes catastrophically wrong—a car explodes before his eyes, seemingly killing both the child and her abductor. Consumed by guilt and grief, Kirill spirals into depression and alcoholism, losing his wife and his career. Yet doubt gnaws at him: no bodies were ever recovered from the wreckage. Unable to accept that Ulyana is truly gone, Kirill embarks on a desperate search for answers, haunted by the possibility that his daughter might still be alive. The series explores how tragedy fractures a family and what a parent will risk to find the truth.
