Golden Boys is a Swedish crime series set in 1997 Stockholm, following Joachim Posener, a recently released eco-criminal determined to rebuild his life and prove himself to his family. Desperate to impress his parents and seven-year-old son, Joachim partners with his reckless cousin Thomas Jisander. Together they adopt the name Golden Boys, living lavishly while orchestrating an increasingly illegal business operation. The series captures their rise through excess and ambition, blending high-stakes crime with the personal stakes of redemption and family. Inspired by the real-world Trustor affair, Golden Boys explores how far two men will go to achieve their dreams.
