Raising Hope(2010)

Raising Hope is a comedy series following Jimmy Chance, a directionless 24-year-old who unexpectedly becomes a father after a one-night stand with a woman who turns out to be a serial killer. When she's sentenced to death, Jimmy gains custody of their daughter and must navigate single parenthood with the help of his eccentric but loving family. Chaotic and heartfelt, the show balances dark humor with genuine warmth as Jimmy and his relatives—including his parents and grandmother—stumble through the challenges of raising a child while barely keeping their own lives together. Despite their dysfunction, the Chance family proves that love and loyalty matter more than having all the answers.
