Starke man(2010)

Starke man is a Swedish comedy series that premiered in 2010, following the chaotic world of local politics in Svinarp, a fictional small municipality in southern Sweden. The show centers on Lars-Göran Bengtsson, an incompetent Social Democrat mayor who repeatedly finds himself in over his head, rescued each time by his weary staff. What begins as Svinarp being branded the second-most boring municipality in Scania becomes the backdrop for absurd political mishaps and bureaucratic comedy. Created by Wiktor Ericsson and Anders Jansson, the series stars Jansson, Magnus Mark, and Anna Blomberg. Starke man balances satirical jabs at small-town governance with character-driven humor, capturing the friction between ambition and incompetence in local administration. The show aired two seasons, with the first launching in September 2010 and the second following in 2011.
