Walker, Texas Ranger follows Cordell Walker, a modern lawman who blends Old West traditions with contemporary crime-solving in Texas. Walker's methods are unconventional, relying on instinct and frontier justice—an approach that frequently clashes with Assistant DA Alex Cahill, despite their mutual attraction. His closest ally is retired Ranger C.D. Parker, who now runs C.D.'s, a country-western saloon that serves as the show's social hub.
