The Pirates of Dark Water is an animated adventure series following Ren, a lighthouse keeper's son who discovers he's the heir to a great kingdom. A magical compass crystal sets him on a quest to find the Thirteen Treasures of Rule—the only artifacts capable of stopping the Dark Water, a carnivorous force consuming his world. But Ren isn't alone in this hunt. The evil pirate captain Bloth pursues him relentlessly, determined to claim the treasures for himself. Along the way, Ren gathers a loyal crew: Ioz, a reformed pirate; Tula, an eco-mage; and Niddler, a witty monkey-bird. Together they navigate treacherous waters and face mounting dangers as the Dark Water spreads.
