Set within the walls of a monastery, the show blends martial arts with crime-fighting drama as its protagonist navigates a world where spiritual sanctuary meets violent conflict. The series ran for two seasons, comprising fifteen 45-minute episodes through 2011. Shot across historic locations in eastern Germany—including Naumburg an der Saale, Pforta, and Königstein Fortress—the production captures both the austere beauty of monastic life and the intensity of hand-to-hand combat sequences.
