Pages of Life(2006)

Pages of Life is a Brazilian drama series that follows the intertwined fates of two families bound by tragedy and love. When Nanda discovers she's pregnant and loses her boyfriend Léo's support, she returns home—only to die in a devastating accident. Her newborn twins, Francisco and Clara, are saved by their doctor Helena, who becomes emotionally attached to Clara, who has Down Syndrome, and decides to adopt both children. Years later, the wealthy and successful Léo resurfaces, determined to reclaim custody of his biological children. Helena and her partner Alex fight fiercely to keep the twins they've raised with devotion, setting off a custody battle that tests the bonds of family, parenthood, and what it truly means to be a parent.
