Kingswood Country(1980)

Kingswood Country is an Australian sitcom that aired on the Seven Network from 1980 to 1984. The series began on 30 January 1980 as a spin-off from a sketch on the comedy program The Naked Vicar Show, which had featured Ross Higgins as a blustering bigot. The character proved popular enough to anchor his own series, and RS Productions developed the show into a full sitcom that became a fixture of Australian television throughout the early 1980s. The program drew on the sketch's comedic foundation while expanding into longer narrative arcs across its four-season run.
