Bewitched is a sitcom that follows Samantha Stephens, a suburban housewife hiding a magical secret: she's a genuine witch. Her husband Darrin demands she suppress her powers to maintain their normal life, but everyday problems constantly force Samantha to cast spells anyway. Complicating matters is her meddlesome mother Endora, a powerful witch who delights in causing chaos and testing Samantha's resolve to stay grounded in the mortal world. The series mines comedy from the clash between Samantha's desire for an ordinary marriage and the supernatural complications that inevitably arise, all while she juggles keeping her true nature concealed from nosy neighbors and her increasingly suspicious husband.
