Hold the Dream(1987)

Hold the Dream is a 1987 television miniseries and sequel to A Woman of Substance, based on Barbara Taylor Bradford's 1985 novel. Deborah Kerr reprises her role as the aging Emma Harte, while Jenny Seagrove steps into the lead as Paula Fairley, Emma's successor. Paula now runs the prestigious Harte department store empire and fights to preserve her grandmother's legacy against mounting family opposition, particularly from her scheming cousin Jonathan Ainsley.
