Motorcity is an American animated series set in a futuristic Detroit where a group of rebels fight to protect their city from corporate control. Created and directed by Chris Prynoski and produced by Titmouse, Inc. and Disney Television Animation, the show blends high-octane action with vibrant animation. The series premiered on Disney XD in April 2012, following a team of skilled drivers who use custom vehicles to battle tyranny and corruption. Despite its devoted fanbase and inventive storytelling, Motorcity was cancelled after one season and concluded in January 2013 without entering reruns. The show remains a cult favorite among animation enthusiasts for its dynamic visuals and compelling resistance narrative.
