Es-Es is a Turkish drama series following Uras, a brilliant but struggling student living in an Istanbul ghetto with his mother and volatile older brother Aras. Determined to escape poverty through education, Uras fights against financial hardship to secure university admission. When a supportive teacher named Işık helps him gain entry to a school in Eskişehir, Uras relocates with hope for a fresh start. Yet his troublesome brother and the weight of his past prove difficult to leave behind. The series explores the tension between ambition and circumstance, examining how family bonds and economic struggle can complicate even the most determined efforts to build a better life.
