Attachments of the Heart follows four lives thrown into upheaval when resort owner Pete Peerapope and his employee Rantida become engaged. Both enter the marriage for practical reasons: Pete seeks to honor his dying mother's final wish, while Rantida desperately needs an escape from her troubled circumstances. What should be a straightforward arrangement becomes complicated by Rantida's aunt Pat, who raised her after university and fiercely opposes the union.
