Back in the Game is a comedy series about Terry Gannon Jr., a former All-Star softball player whose life derailed after an unplanned pregnancy, lost scholarship, and failed marriage. Desperate for a fresh start, Terry and her son Danny move in with her estranged father, "The Cannon"—a gruff, beer-loving ex-athlete who struggled as both a single parent and professional player. When Terry reluctantly agrees to coach Danny's ragtag youth softball team, she's forced to confront her own athletic dreams and complicated family history. The show balances humor with heart as Terry navigates single motherhood, rebuilding her relationship with her father, and discovering whether coaching the next generation might give her the second chance she never expected.
