Gameshow Marathon(2006)

Gameshow Marathon is an American game show that aired on CBS for one month in summer 2006. Based on the British format Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon, the series brings celebrity contestants face-to-face with beloved classics from television history. Each episode eliminates players in a single-elimination tournament until one champion emerges. Hosted by Ricki Lake with Rich Fields announcing, Gameshow Marathon recreates iconic rounds from decades of game show tradition, testing contestants' knowledge, speed, and luck across multiple genres. The show was produced by FremantleMedia North America and Granada America at CBS Television City in Los Angeles. Though the American run lasted just six episodes, the format proved durable elsewhere—the UK version returned for a second season in 2007 with Vernon Kay as host.
