Yo Sé Que Mentía is a 1982 Puerto Rican soap opera that became one of the most watched telenovelas in the island's history. The drama stars Daniel Guerrero, legendary dancer Iris Chacón, and a young Adamari López alongside Amneris Morales, Miguel Ángel Suárez, and Ángela Meyer. Meyer and Suárez play a married couple determined to sabotage the lives of Guerrero and Chacón's characters. The show's title track, performed by Chacón, became one of her signature hits. For López, who was just nine years old during filming, the telenovela marked a pivotal early role in what would become an international acting career.
