Sordid Lives: The Series(2008)

Sordid Lives: The Series is an American comedy that serves as a prequel to Del Shores's 2000 film of the same name. Set in small-town Texas, the show follows the dysfunctional Ingram family through their messy, darkly comic lives. Shores created, wrote, and directed the series, which reunites most of the original film cast alongside Rue McClanahan, Olivia Newton-John, Caroline Rhea, and Leslie Jordan. The show premiered on Logo in July 2008 and aired in the UK on Film24 starting August 2009. Though a second season was planned, lack of funding prevented production from continuing. In Canada, viewers can watch the uncut version on Super Channel or a censored version on Out TV.
