Jury Trial(1995)

Jury Trial is a German crime series that aired on Sat.1 from 1995 to 1997, following criminal cases through the eyes of public prosecutors. Designed to rival ARD's long-running Tatort, the show premiered in prime time on Sunday evenings but struggled to find its audience. Despite its ambitious premise and strong time slot, viewership failed to meet expectations, leading to its cancellation after just two years. Later broadcasts of completed episodes were released under the alternative title Der Mordsfilm or without a series designation, but the show never gained the traction its creators had hoped for in Germany's competitive crime drama landscape.
