Odysseus(2013)

Odysseus is a historical drama set on the Greek island of Ithaca in the 8th century B.C., ten years after the Trojan War. The king remains lost at sea while his kingdom crumbles under the weight of ambitious princes who have invaded and consumed its resources. Queen Penelope faces relentless pressure to remarry, but she devises a clever delay: she will choose a new husband only after completing a burial shroud for King Laertes. Each night, she secretly undoes her weaving. Meanwhile, Odysseus' son Telemachus struggles with his claim to the throne, haunted by a single obsession—to sail out and find his father. The series follows the collision of duty, survival, and hope as the kingdom teeters on the edge of collapse.
