The Wakos is a series that follows a dedicated social worker navigating the struggles of beloved childhood characters fallen on hard times. Once iconic figures, these characters now face poverty, social disadvantage, and neglect in a world that has largely forgotten them. The show takes viewers into confidential interviews with Aspegix, Grodebilix, Zizimir, Sandy, Proumfs, Mr Patatos, Marius, Gigi, and others as they confront their difficult circumstances. Through these intimate sessions, The Wakos explores themes of economic crisis, social inequality, and the human cost of being left behind. It's a darkly comedic yet compassionate look at how even the most cherished figures from our past can find themselves struggling to survive in an indifferent world.
