Struggle for Life(2014)

Struggle for Life is a Polish-Norwegian drama series following Tomasz Novak, a 28-year-old linguist from Warsaw who travels to Norway expecting a quick financial windfall from his estranged father. What begins as a transactional visit gradually transforms into something deeper as Tomasz becomes increasingly embedded in Norwegian society. Through his interactions with a privileged, well-intentioned circle of locals, the series offers an intimate portrait of contemporary Norwegian life. As Tomasz navigates cultural differences and unexpected connections, his initial quest for money gives way to a more complex exploration of belonging, identity, and what it means to find home in an unfamiliar place.
