Heart of the City(2017)

Heart of the City is a Turkish drama following two characters from opposite sides of the tracks. Derin is the privileged daughter of a wealthy businessman, while Ali is a young man haunted by childhood trauma—he witnessed his father kill his mother and was taken in by Rauf Anne as a surrogate son. Years later, Ali returns to Istanbul, where he unexpectedly meets Derin. As they spend time together, an unlikely connection forms between them, drawing them deeper into each other's worlds. Their relationship becomes a bridge between two vastly different lives, testing whether love can transcend class boundaries and personal tragedy.
