Two Years Vacation(1974)

Two Years Vacation is a New Zealand adventure series following a group of schoolboys who embark on a sailing trip through family connections. When two cunning pirates infiltrate the crew seeking passage to a treasure-laden island, they orchestrate a mutiny and seize control of the vessel, taking the boys hostage. With help from crew member O'Brian, the young sailors escape with the boat, only to be shipwrecked on a remote island after a violent storm. Stranded and forced to work together despite internal tensions, the boys must build a functioning community to survive. Yet the island harbors secrets, and the pirate threat remains. As they navigate both the challenges of isolation and the dangers lurking in their new world, the group discovers that cooperation and resilience are their greatest assets.
