Belle Epoque(2017)

Belle Epoque is a Polish historical drama set in 1908 Krakow, following detective Jan Edigey-Korycki as he navigates the city's criminal underworld while haunted by his past. Employed by the police to solve murders, Edigey-Korycki becomes entangled in a deadly investigation that forces him to confront a fatal duel from a decade earlier—one in which he may have killed a man. The series captures the elegant decay of the Belle Époque era, blending procedural crime solving with personal redemption. As Edigey-Korycki pursues justice for his cases, he must also reckon with the ghosts of his own history, questioning guilt, innocence, and the cost of survival in a world where the line between detective and suspect remains dangerously thin.
