Florida Championship Wrestling(2008)

Florida Championship Wrestling is a professional wrestling promotion that evolved from the independent Championship Wrestling from Florida, which ran from 1961 to 1987. From October 2007 to August 2012, FCW operated as WWE's official developmental territory, training wrestlers before they moved to the main roster. In August 2012, WWE rebranded the promotion as NXT, discontinuing FCW's original storylines and championships. The shift marked a significant transition in how WWE structured its talent pipeline, moving from a regional developmental model to a more nationally branded system under the NXT banner.
