Daisuki!!(2008)

Daisuki!! is a Japanese drama series following Yuzu Fukuhara, a woman with a condition that affects her mental development. After her boyfriend dies heroically saving a child from traffic, Yuzu discovers she's pregnant. Despite her disability, she resolves to become a mother to her daughter Himawari. The series chronicles Yuzu's journey as she defies expectations and fights against the odds to prove herself as a capable parent. Adapted from Mizuho Aimoto's manga, Daisuki!! explores themes of maternal love, perseverance, and family bonds as Yuzu navigates motherhood with determination and support from those around her.
