NAV(2012)

NAV is a Norwegian comedy series following Tor Varhaug, a chronically unmotivated civil servant who returns to work after a lengthy absence, only to land a new position at Norway's welfare agency. Determined to coast through his days doing the absolute minimum, Tor finds his plans constantly thwarted by his relentless boss Linda, who excels at delegating an endless stream of tasks to him. As Tor schemes to avoid responsibility while Linda pushes him toward productivity, their workplace dynamic drives the show's humor. The series captures the absurdity of bureaucratic life and the clash between an employee's desire for idleness and management's expectations, all set against the backdrop of a real government institution.
