Metro Park(2019)

Metro Park follows Kannan and Kinjal, a young married couple expecting their first child, as they leave their cramped New York City apartment for the suburbs of New Jersey to be near Kinjal's sister. The move to Metro Park, a tight-knit Indian community, forces them to navigate a radically different lifestyle where privacy is a luxury they never anticipated losing. As they settle into their new neighborhood, Kannan and Kinjal must adapt to the close-quarters reality of living among extended family and nosy neighbors who take a keen interest in every aspect of their lives. The series explores the tension between their desire for independence and the cultural expectations of their close community, blending humor with the genuine challenges of young parenthood and cultural identity.
