Mermaid Sauna(2018)

Mermaid Sauna is a Finnish comedy series that follows three strangers whose lives collide in the most unexpected way. After a night of heavy drinking, a gay sauna owner, an accountant, and a student wake up trapped in each other's bodies. What begins as chaos becomes a darkly funny exploration of identity, privilege, and desire as each character navigates a life they never signed up for. Forced to inhabit unfamiliar worlds—from the sauna's underground scene to corporate offices to student life—they confront their own assumptions and prejudices. The series balances absurdist humor with genuine moments of vulnerability, examining how quickly we judge others and how little we truly understand about lives different from our own.
