Aquarian Age: Sign for Evolution is an anime series following Kyota and his friends Shingo and Junichi as they pursue their dream of becoming pop idols. After catching the eye of a Cosmopop agent at a New Year's show, the trio lands their big break. But Kyota's life spirals into chaos when he begins experiencing visions of magical girls locked in aerial combat—visions that turn out to be terrifyingly real. For centuries, five supernatural factions have battled for control over humanity, waiting for the prophesied Aquarian Age when one faction will finally reign supreme. Kyota discovers he may hold the key to tipping the balance of this ancient war, forcing him to abandon his idol ambitions and confront a destiny far larger than stardom.
